Accepting Changes from Updated Xero Data and Uploaded Documents

Introduction

Once you’ve started working on a workpaper file in Tax Sorted, you might realize that some data is missing or needs an updated in Xero. If any changes are made in Xero—like adjustments to balances or transactions—you can simply refresh the Xero data to update the financials in Tax Sorted.
But refreshing alone isn’t enough, you also need to accept the changes so that they reflect in the financial reports. This includes changes detected from updated and uploaded documents too along with the information fetched from xero while refreshing the data. Here's how to review and accept Changes.

Accepting Changes

Step 1: After Refreshing Xero Data, go to the relevant workpaper file by clicking on the financial year from the Client List.

Step 3: If any updates are detected, a red Required Attention icon will appear under the Workpaper(s) column.
