Auditomation Bank Data Feed Indicator

Auditomation Bank Data Feed Indicator

Introduction

We are pleased to introduce Bank Data Feed in Auditomation, providing clear visibility into how bank transaction data is recorded for the bank accounts in a fund, helping auditors streamline the verification process.

Bank Data Feed Indicator

Bank Data Feed feature helps auditors know if the bank transactions have been recorded automatically via data feed or manually by the accountant.

Depending on whether the Data Feed is active in the accounting software, and whether the bank transaction data is fetched automatically or added manually by the accountant, the following scenarios may apply;
  1. Bank feed is Not Active at all: The accountant adds the bank transaction data manually, using the bank statement. In this case, no feed indicator is displayed.
  2. Bank feed is Active & all transactions are automatically recorded: The bank transactions are fetched automatically without any manual intervention. In this case, a Green indicator is displayed, representing that the bank data feed is active for the bank and all the transactions are recorded with an automated feed without any manual intervention.
  3. Bank feed is Active however, all or a few transactions are manually recorded: If the Data Feed is active, however, all or a few of the transactions are added manually by the accountant, the indicator will be Yellow, representing a manually added transaction.

  1. Hover over the feed indicator to view additional feed details, including the Feed Type and Start Date.
