Introduction
Below is the user guide to deactivate and reactive clients in SMSF Sorted.
How to Deactivate Clients
Step 1: Click on Clients > Manage Clients.
Step 2: Under the Action column, click the three-dot icon and select Deactivate Client.
Step 3: A confirmation pop-up will appear; click Deactivate to confirm.
Step 4: The selected client will be successfully deactivated, and you'll receive a confirmation toast message at the bottom-right corner of your screen.

Note:
- Staff with Business Admin and Super User Roles can only Deactivate or Delete clients. You can not deactivate any client who has even 1 job that is still in progress.
- The deleted records cannot be retrieved back hence it is recommended users complete all pending actions for jobs and download the Sorted workpaper file before Deactivating and Deleting a client.
How to Reactivate Client
Step 1: You can Re-activate clients from the Inactive Clients Tab, accessible through Clients > Manage Clients.
Step 2: Click on Re-activate Clients.
Step 3: Click on Re-activate from the appearing pop-up to confirm the action.
Step 4: A confirmation toast message will appear on your screen.
