How do I know what OCR status a document is?
Overview
With the introduction of automatic OCR of uploaded documents in the 2.3 November 2020 release, the OCR Status column in DMS has been removed and replaced with specific document icons to represent each status. This article will explain how these icons can be read to understand whether OCR has been run over a document or not.
How to read the document icons in DMS
Icon
| Meaning |
| OCR Completed - OCR has been run over the document |
| OCR Pending - Document is in the queue for OCR processing |
| OCR not required - Document does not require OCR to be run |
