How to Connect and Disconnect an Audit Firm

Introduction

The Connect module establishes and manages connections with audit firms. This feature allows you to seamlessly connect with audit firms, making it easier to push funds from Sorted to Audit. Within this module, you can initiate connections, invite audit firms, disconnect as needed, and review the history of your interactions.
Here are step-by-step instructions for various actions related to connecting with audit firms in your system:

How to Connect with an Audit Firm:

Step 1: Click on Admin > Connect.



Step 2: Click on the Connect Audit Firm button at the top right of your screen.



Step 3: A slider will appear on the right. Provide all the required details of the audit firm you want to connect with. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are compulsory and cannot be left empty.
Step 4: Once you've filled in the details, click Connect.




Notes
Note: If the audit firm already has a Cloudoffis Auditomation portal, the Company name, email contact and Firm type will prefill after the ABN has been entered.

Step 5: A connect email will be sent to the entered email address for registration through Auditomation, and you will receive a confirmation toast message on your screen.



Step 6: Now the Audit Firm will have to login to their Auditomation account if it exists, if not, they can simply Register and Accept the Connect Request.
  1. They will get an email with the Register link.


  1. On successful registration, the connected Auditor will get an email with the login credentials.


Step 7: Once they connect, the status will change from invited to connected.



How to Disconnect from an Audit Firm:

Step 1: Click on Admin > Connect.



Step 2: Click on the three-dot icon next to the company name you want to disconnect from.



Step 3: Click Disconnect from the appearing po-up to confirm the action.



To view your connect history to know the firm names you have connected with in past, follow the steps given below.

How to View Connect History

Step 1: Click on Admin Connect.



Step 2: Click on the View History button at the top right of your screen.



Step 3: A pop-up screen will appear, displaying information such as the Company NameABNEmail AddressContact NumberDate and Time of the connection, and the Status of the Audit Firms. You can use the search function to locate specific audit firms quickly.


If you have already sent the connect request once to the audit firm and you want to resend it for any reason, follow the steps given below.

How to Resend Connect Request:

Step 1: Click on Admin Connect.



Step 2: Click the three-dot icon next to the company name you want to resend the request.

Step 3: Click Resend Request to send another connection request to the firm. Please note that this option is available only for audit firms that have not yet been connected.
