How to Connect to an External Auditor from SMSF Sorted

Introduction

This article will outline how to connect to an external auditor from SMSF Sorted.

How to Connect to an External Auditor from SMSF Sorted

Step 1: From the Admin menu, select Connect, then click on Connect Audit Firm:




Step 2: Enter the ABN of the Audit firm, and contact email address. The company name will be prefilled based on the entered ABN.


NOTE: If the Audit firm already has a Cloudoffis Audit portal, the Company name, email contact and Firm type will prefill after the ABN has been entered.

Step 3: Click Connect.   



Step 4: You will receive a confirmation message and 



Step 5: An email will be sent to the recipient notifying them of the connection request and providing a link to approve it. 
OR
Step 5: If the Auditor does not have an Audit Portal then:
  1. They will get an email with the Register link.



  1. On successful registration, the connected Auditor will get an email with the login credentials.
