How to reimport a client into SMSF Sorted

Overview

After importing a client into SMSF Sorted, you may note that some data is missing, such as Fund ABN, GST Status or a member's Date of Birth. This information comes from the data in Class or BGL, and should be updated in the administration software first. Once this has been done, you can reimport the client
  1. From the Business Dashboard, navigate to Clients > Manage Clients.
    The Manage Clients list will appear. Any funds with missing information will have a Re-Import Client button available
  2. Click the  icon can be clicked to see which information was not initially imported.
    A summary of the missing information is provided in a panel on the right of the screen
  3. To clear the Summary panel, tap anywhere on the shaded left side of the screen
  4. If you have confirmed in Class or BGL that the missing information has been entered into your Administration Software, then click the Re-Import Client button.
    The Re-Importing Client window will appear.

  5. After a brief wait, a success message will appear in the lower right corner of your screen.

    Click the X to dismiss this message.
  6. Once the missing data has been imported, there will be a No Issues message in the Client Details column

If there is still data missing, the Re-import Client button will still be present. Check that the relevant information has been correctly saved in your Administration Software before attempting to reimport
