Internal Queries


If you are managing the audits within the same portal and not connected with external administrators Cloudoffis has internal queries available, if you are connected with external firms and require assistance for raising and managing external queries please refer to here.

Raising a Query

Where to raise a query

Queries can be raised by selecting the 3 dot menu on the right of all of the below;

  1. Checklists within the plan
  2. Audit review and SIS checklist from with the review checklist page
  3. Individual Lead schedule lines
  4. At a page level for checklist or lead schedule
  5. From the observations page
  6. From the Queries and Review Point page

How to populate an internal query

  1. Type of Query - Select internal
  2. Assign to - Select another team member who is assigned a role for the audit or yourself if you are communicating with someone who does not have Cloudoffis access or is not assigned a role in the particular audit.
  3. SIS Reference - Enter the SIS reference if your query relates to a compliance topic. Typing S will provide drop down of sections and R will provide a drop down with all regulations to choose from.
  4. Workpaper - This will auto populate to the section you are raising the query from, if raising a query from the Queries and Review menu you must allocate to a section or select None.
  5. Query Heading - Type as free text
  6. Query - Type as free text
Once complete click save
Note: you can attach files to your query while raising.


How is the query recipient notified.

  1. If you have assigned to a colleague that is performing a role within the audit they will receive a notification within Cloudoffis


  1. If you are raising a query for a non Cloudoffis user or a user that is not assigned a role for the audit you are working on you can email to yourself from the queries and review points menu and then forward to your colleague


  1. The email that is generated and received by yourself for forwarding will appear as per below;



Responding to a query within Cloudoffis 

For users who have been directly assigned query only (users that are assigned a user role for the audit)

Once you have navigated to the query you can select Reply or Resolve and enter details as prompted

Resolving - Resolution Comment field will appear



Replying - Reply pop up will appear

Note: Files can be attached to a reply




Notification of replies or resolutions

These appear within the Cloudoffis notifications


Once expanded you can select View all notifications


You will then see all queries and each message is a link that will direct you to the Queries and Review point menu for the specified job
