Managing Audit Letters & Reports shared by the Auditor

Introduction

Audit Letters and Reports shared by auditors can be accessed in your DMS folder for generation and processing. This guide outlines how to manage and process audit letters and reports, including generating, sharing, and managing Pre-Audit and Post-Audit reports.

Generating Pre-Audit Letters Using Shared Report Templates

Step 1: Navigate to Clients > Report Templates to access shared templates from auditors.
Step 2: Select Audit Firm from the left panel to view shared templates.

Notes
Note: Here, all your connected audit firms will be displayed.

Step 3: View the list of templates on the right and click the three-dot action button, then select Generate Report.

Note: Use the View option to preview the template before generating the report.
Step 5: On the upcoming screen select the Year.

Step 6: All the clients with the jobs for that specific year will be displayed on your screen. Select the Client Name for which you want to generate the shared report template and click Next.

Step 7: Review the placeholders in the template by clicking View, and if satisfied, click Generate.

Step 9: Now click on Continue from the appearing pop-up.

Step 10: The Generated Reports will be listed under Clients > Report Templates > Generated Reports tab.

Managing Generated Reports

View Generated reports:

Step 1: Go to Clients > Report Templates > Generated Reports.

Step 2: Click the three-dot action button under the Action column and select View.

Delete Generated Reports

Step 1: Navigate to Clients > Report Templates > Generated Reports.

Step 2: Click the three-dot action button and select Delete.

Step 3: Click on Delete to Confirm.

Step 4: A confirmation toast message will appear at the bottom of your screen.

Downloading Report

Step 1: Click on Clients > Report Templates > Generated Reports.

Step 2: All the Clients with their Reports Generated will be listed on this page. Click the three-dot action button and select Download Report.

Step 3: The report will be downloaded and saved into your local drive.

Once this is done, you can share the Downloaded Reports with your clients for signature and then Upload Signed Report.

Uploading Signed Report

Step 1: Navigate to Clients > Report Templates > Generated Reports.

Step 2: All the Clients with their Reports Generated will be listed on this page. Click on the three dot icon under the action column and click on Upload Signed Report.

Step 3: Click on Local Drive and select the Signed Report. You can also Drag & Drop if required.

Once uploaded, the report status changes from Unsigned to Signed.

Download Signed Report

Step 1: Click on Clients > Report Templates > Generated Reports.

Step 2: All the Clients with their Reports Generated will be listed on this page. Click on the three dot icon under the action column and click on Download Signed Report.

Step 3: The Report will be downloaded and saved into your local drive.

Notes
Note: This option will be only available once you have uploaded the Signed Report.

Share Generated Pre Audit Reports to the auditor.

Step 1: Click on Clients > Report Templates > Generated Reports.

Step 2: Click on the three-dot Action button and select Share to Auditor.

Step 3: 
  1. If the job has already been submitted to the auditor, the pre audit report will be shared with the auditor.
  2. If the job hasn’t been submitted, the report template will be shared as soon as the job is submitted. The status will show as Shared to Auditor.

Accessing Post Audit Letters & Reports

Step 1: All the Post Audit Letters and Reports shared by the auditors will be available under DMS > Audit Letters & Reports folder.

Step 2: You can click on the three dot Action button and select View to view the shared Post Audit letter.

Step 3: You can also click on Download Report to download the Post Audit letter.

Step 4: If required, you can also click on Delete to delete the Shared Post Audit Report.

Step 5: You can also click on Rename to rename the shared Report Template by the auditor as you prefer.
