MFA (Multi Factor Authentication)

MFA

Introduction

MFA(Multi-Factor Authentication)is a security technology that requires multiple methods of authentication from independent categories of credentials to verify a user's identity for a login process or other transactions. Multifactor authentication combines two or more independent credentials: what the user knows, such as a password; what the user has, such as a security token; and what the user is, by using biometric verification methods.
Notes
Note:- MFA is not mandatory, and users can opt-in any time, and disable it later if desired.
Cloudoffis provides three different options for MFA to provide flexibility for users using multiple devices:
  • Scan QR

  • SMS Text message

  • Email Authentication

Notes
Note:- You can use one or more of these MFA options. Setting up more than one will provide you with alternative methods of logging in and better security.

MFA Set Up

Step 1:- Click on Admin>Integrations>MFA.
