MS Plugin- Sorted

This article will cover the process of downloading and using Microsoft Office Plugin.

What is MS Plugin?

  1. This plugin will allow Cloudoffis to integrate seamlessly with MS Office.
  2. It will allow you to create, edit and save documents using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) directly.
  3. Link your Cloudoffis account with MS Office and experience hassle-free document management with a quick and easy-to-follow setup process.
  4. To get started, please click on the Download MS Plugin button and refer to the MS Plugin Setup Instructions given below.

Warning:- Please close all Microsoft Products i.e. Word, Excel, etc. before beginning the download & installation.

Downloading & Installing MS Plugin

To download the MS Plugin in your sorted account, kindly follow the steps given below.
Step 1:- After logging in to the Cloudoffis Sorted portal, click on DMS.

Step 2:- Now click on Download MS Plugin.




Step 3:- From the appearing pop-up select the bit version of your MS Office, it can be either 32 Bit or 64 Bit and then click on Download MS Plugin- 64/32 bit button.

Note:- If you don’t know the Bit version of your MS Office account, you can click here and follow the steps given.




Step 4:- A zip file will be downloaded click on the file and double-click the MS Cloudoffis_Setup to install MS Plugin.

Note:- If by any chance you are unable to do so, or you are getting some error, try to extract the zip file and try again.

Step 5:- Click on More Info.


                         

Step 6:- Now click on Run Anyway.



Step 7:- A pop-up will appear, click on Next.



Step 8:- Select Installation Folder and again click on Next.



Step 9:- A confirmation pop-up will appear, for the final time click on Next.



Step 10:- You will now receive a confirmation message stating that installation has been completed, click on Close.



That’s it, you have successfully installed MS Plugin for the Cloudoffis Sorted portal.

How to use MS Plugin

Step 1:- Once you have installed MS Plugin, go to DMS and select a Fund Name.

Step 2:- All the folders in that fund will now be visible on the right side, click on Unsorted.




Step 3:- Now upload the documents by clicking on the Upload Documents button.



Step 4:- You can either drag and drop the document or upload them from the local drive.

Step 5:- Once documents have been uploaded successfully, click on Close and close the slider. 




Step 6:- You will now get an option to edit the Word file or Excel sheet in MS Office, click on Edit in MS Office to process forward.



Step 7:- Once you click on it, the Word document or Excel sheet will be downloaded.



Step 8:- Now click on Enable Editing, as soon as you do so, a pop-up will appear where you will have to add User Name & Password to process forward.



Step 9:- To know your Username and Password, click on the profile icon and then on My Profile.



Step 10:- Now click on MS Office Authentication and on the appearing page you will find User Name and Password. You can simply copy and paste them from this page to the pop-up and then hit the Login button.



Step 11:- As soon as you do so, you will be now able to edit the word document through MS Office.

Note:- All the changes that you have made in MS Word will be directly updated in Cloudoffis Sorted portal as well.




How to know the Bit Version of your MS Office.

Step 1:- Open a Word document, and click on File from the top left corner.



Step 2:- Now click on Account from the left navigation bar and then on About Word.



Step 3:- You’ll be able to locate your MS Office version now in the very first line.
