Remapping Buckets

Remapping of Manually Mapped Buckets

On occasion, following job creation, there are lead schedule items that Cloudoffis does not recognise due to COA or placement. When this occurs we ask you to manually map these items, release 4.13 included the option to remap these items.

This new feature will also prove very helpful when working with funds requiring Manual Upload as all of these items require manual mapping.
We do not and will not facilitate the remapping of items correctly mapped based on the COA or placement within the administration software, this feature is for manually mapped items only. If items have been placed incorrectly within the administration software and Cloudoffis automatically maps the item, this item cannot be remapped in Cloudoffis and must be moved within the administration software. Once moved, using our Re-import Lead Schedule process the item will be correctly mapped or requested to be manually mapped.

How to Remap

The remap function is aligned with our Re-Import Lead Schedule function, during the re-import an option now exists to activate the remap function;

When activated, all manually mapped items will require re-mapping.

For those familiar with our Manual Upload logic, if you only need to remap one or two items you may find it more efficient to change the 3 digit mapping codes within the Excel Trial Balance Template. This will result in only the changed items requiring remapping and all other manually mapped items will remain per your original selection.

The feature will work when using either of our Re-import options, please be aware that when selecting this option while using our Overwrite existing data option;
  1. Any documents attached to an item that is remapped will be removed, along with associated bookmarks. (removed from line item only, the document will still exist for the job)
  2. If an item that is remapped is the only item that existed for the bucket. All associated checklist completion is removed as the checklist will no longer exist. This includes associated queries and comments.
    1. For example: If I incorrectly mapped an asset item as an expense and it was the only expense item that existed before I remapped as an asset. The expense checklist will no longer be required and will not exist after re-importing the lead schedule because there are no other associated expense items.
