SMSF Sorted - Job Type Classification

Introduction

The Job-Type field in the system is automatically prefilled based on certain conditions. This field specifies whether the job is a Year-End or Wind-Up job.

For BGL360, Class, and Supermate Funds:

  1. Job-Type Auto-Fill: The Job-Type field will now automatically be prefilled based on the data imported from BGL360, Class, or Supermate accounting software.
  2. Wind-Up Classification: If a fund has been classified as a "Wind-Up" within the respective accounting software, this classification will carry over to the SMSF Sorted dashboard when the job is created.
  3. Wind-Up Date Pre-Fill: For Wind-Up funds, the wind-up date specified in BGL360, Class, or Supermate will also be automatically prefilled on the SMSF Sorted Dashboard.

For Manual Funds:

For jobs that are created manually, the Job-Type field will be prefilled based on the information entered into the Client Details window.
  1. Update Manually Created Funds: To update the Job-Type for manually created funds, navigate to Manage Clients > Fund Name in blue. The client details will appear on the right side of the screen.
  2. Enter Wind-Up Date: In the Fund Details section, you can enter the Wind-Up date. This will help the system classify the fund correctly as Year-End or Wind-Up.

These changes aim to streamline the classification of job types in SMSF Sorted based on the information available from accounting software and manual entries.
