How to Set Up Single Sign-On (SSO) for Cloudoffis with Microsoft Azure

Introduction

This guide explains how to set up Single Sign-On (SSO) for Cloudoffis using Microsoft Azure Active Directory, so your team can log in to SMSF Auditomation securely with their existing Azure credentials.

Activation Request to Cloudoffis

First, you must submit a request to our Support team to have the SSO Authentication page activated in Cloudoffis, which would lead you to the following page.

Process from Microsoft Azure

After the activation of the above-mentioned page, please follow the steps given below to authenticate SSO in Azure:

Step 1: Log in to the Azure portal. Open your web browser and navigate to https://portal.azure.com.
Step 2: Select Enterprise Applications from the Microsoft Azure Home Screen 


Step 3: To add a new application, click New Application



Step 4: Then click on Create your own application, add the Name of your app in the text box, then click on Create button.
You will be redirected to the Setup page.




NotesNote: This will direct you to the Set up page. If not, you can also locate and edit the application configured for Cloudoffis.

Step 5: Click on Get Started in Set up single sign on to proceed with the configuration.





Step 6: Click on SAML. 



Step 7: Click on Edit in Basic SAML Configuration. 




  1. Click on Add identifier under Identifier (Entity ID) > add the registered domain as https://<subdomain name>.cloudoffis.com.au/CloudoffisServer
  2. Click on Add reply URL under Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL)https://<subdomain name>.cloudoffis.com.au/cloudoffisServer/api/sso/sso/validate



  1. Download Certificate (Base64) in SAML Certificates > save it on your computer.

Note: This certificate will be uploaded on Auditomation portal >> in the integration page.
Process from SMSF Auditomation

Process from SMSF Auditomation

Step 1: After logging in to your Auditomation portal, click on the Admin > Integration > SSO Authentication.


Step 2: On the appearing page, fill in the details.

  1. Copy the <subdomain name> from the Identifier (Entity ID) and paste/enter under Sub Domain field.







  1. You will get Login and Logout URL from Set up Cloudoffis tab in Microsoft Azure, enter this in Auditomation page.






  1. Copy the URL of Identifier (Entity ID) and paste/enter in Azure AD Identifier: Example: https://<subdomain name>.cloudoffis.com.au/cloudoffisServer 





  1.  Upload the downloaded Certificate (Base64), and then click on the Save button.




Cloudoffis Integration

To complete the integration with Cloudoffis, please send us a confirmation at support@cloudoffis.com.au  once the above process is completed from your end.

NotesNote: If possible, kindly send a screenshot of the integrations page, attached.
After we complete the setup on our side, we will notify you.

Note: Once the Azure user list is synchronized with Audit, all users synced from the client will be displayed in the Audit > Admin > Staff tab.
These users can log in to SMSF Audit using their Azure credentials via a client-specific link (Example: https://<subdomain name>.cloudoffis.com.au). Upon opening this link, users will encounter the Microsoft Azure login page.
