Staff Creation, Roles & Permissions
This guide contains steps to create new users. edit users and provides further details for the individual roles and permissions.
Create New User
This can only be performed by users with administration access (refer bottom of guide for role definitions)
Select Admin/Staff and you will be directed to the Staff page
Select Create New Staff
Enter details as prompted, for further information on roles refer bottom of guide.
Once all fields are completed the Create New Staff box at the bottom of the page will become active.
This will generate an email with login details to the newly registered user.
Edit Staff
At any stage a users credentials can be edited or deleted by an administrator.
Select Admin/Staff and you will be directed to the Staff page
Select the 3 dot menu on the right of the desired user and select Edit.
Change the required details.
Roles And Permissions
The below matrix displays the permissions of each role, these options will be built upon in future release but listed below is a summary for each. The roles also influence the Main Dashboard view and filter options within queues.
Note: The user role does not impact who can be assigned one of the below job roles.
- Preparer
- Manager
- Reviewer
Business Admin (Primary User)
Can perform all roles and actions within the portal including purchasing additional files and activating the renewal.
Dashboard
Includes all jobs for the firm and all filter options within queues are active.
Super User (Administrator)
Can perform all roles and actions within the portal with the exception of purchases.
Dashboard
Includes all jobs for the firm and all filter options within queues are active.
Manager
Can perform all roles required for a job but will not be able to perform administration only functions.
Dashboard
Includes own jobs only but within queues there will be an option to see and access all jobs.
Preparer
Can perform all roles required for a job but will not be able to perform administration only functions.
Dashboard
Includes own jobs only and will only see own (assigned) jobs within queues.
Partner (this is a WIP)
Currently functions as per Super User but logic will soon change in an upcoming release, please avoid using this role currently.
