Job Dashboard
The Job Dashboard in SMSF Sorted provides essential information for managing a job. It offers various details and functionalities to help you efficiently handle the job's activities.
Here's an overview of the key components of the Job Dashboard and the actions you can perform:
Job Details
Displays Job-specific information, including Period Description, Period Start Date, Period End Date, Business Name, and Job Created Date.
Icons N, U, and D with counts indicate new line items added, updated, or deleted respectively.
- Shows the Last Imported Date, Job Status, Updated By (Status), and Last Updated Date (Status).
- Provides View icon to click on and View Sorted Workpaper File.
Relationship
Lists the staff members assigned to the job with their respective roles.
Allows you to assign or remove staff members by clicking on the Assign/Remove Staff button.
Observations
Displays observations categorized as Warnings, Good To Go, Not Applicable, or Data Not Available.
Clicking on any observation category redirects you to the respective Observations tab.
Financial Position & Operating Statement
Indicates the percentage of Reviewed and Prepared for Statement of Financial Position and Operating Statement.
Clicking on these percentages opens the respective financial reports.
DMS (Document Management System)
Shows available folders in the job, including Permanent, Unsorted, and Workpaper Folders.
Displays the number of documents in each folder.
- Clicking View Documents opens all folders along with their respective documents.
- Clicking on a specific folder takes you to the DMS with its documents.
Queries
Shows the total number of internal and external queries, including open and closed ones.
Clicking on the query count redirects you to the respective query section, where you can resolve and respond to queries.
Review Points
Displays the total number of review points, and open and closed ones.
Clicking on the review points count redirects you to the relevant review points section. Here, you can address review points as needed, specifying whether No Action is Required, adding Notes for Accountants, or adding Notes for Auditors.
Recent Activities
Lists recent activities performed within the job, including staff names, dates, times, activities, and staff roles.
Submit the Job to the Auditor

Note: You can only submit the job to the auditor when the Job Status is marked as Completed.
Step 1: Go to the Job Dashboard by clicking on Clients > Manage Jobs > Client Name.
Step 2: Click on the Submit To Auditor button.
Note: Make sure, this button will be only enabled if the Job Stage is Completed.
Step 3: Select the Auditor and the Client Contact.
Step 4: Data verification will begin, once completed, click on Submit.
Step 5: You will now be redirected to Clients > Manage Jobs > Submit to Auditor(s) page. You will find your job listed here.
Change Status
Step 1: Navigate to the Job Dashboard, by select the relevant job from Clients > Manage Jobs > My Audit Jobs.
Step 2: Click on the Change Status button.
Step 3: Select the desired status for the job and save the changes.
Step 4: Click on Change Status from the appearing pop-up to confirm the action.
Step 5: Last Status Update date and name of the user who has updated the status will be displayed on the Job Dashboard, under Status section.
View the Sorted Work Paper File
Step 1: Select the job and access the Job Dashboard from Clients> My Jobs > My Audit Job.
Step 2: Click on View Sorted Workpaper File.
Step 3: You can view available workpapers and Generate Sorted File.
Step 4: Once generated, you can Download or Regenerate sorted files.
Assign/Remove Staff
Step 1: Visit the Job Dashboard by selecting the job.
Step 2: Click on Assign/Remove Staff.
Step 3: Remove and Re-assign the staff and click on Save & Close once done.
View Observations
Step 1: Navigate to the Job Dashboard by selecting the job.
Step 2: Click on Observations to view observations in different categories (Warnings, Good To Go, Not Applicable, or Data Not Available).
