What documents are included when generating the Sorted File?

Overview

When a job is completed in SMSF Sorted, a Sorted file can be generated to send to an auditor, either as a direct connection to the auditor using Cloudoffis, or sending the collated zip file via other means.

Workflow

Generate/Regenerate Sorted File

Once a job is updated as Completed, a Sorted file can be generated from the job dashboard by clicking the Generate Sorted File button.



It should be noted that the Sorted file can be generated at any time if required, and if this has occurred, the "Generate Sorted File" button would be labelled as "Regenerate Sorted File" and a timestamp will appear under the "Download Sorted File" button.



After the Generate/Regenerate Sorted File button has been clicked, a selection box will appear to choose what documents to include in the file.


By default, all options are checked. If you wish to exclude certain folders from the Sorted file, uncheck the relevant box. When done with your selections, click OK.

As the file is compiled, a progress animation will be displayed.


Once complete, the "Download Sorted File" button will become active, and you will see the timestamp for the file creation.



NOTE: If after a minute the screen still shows the progress animation, refresh your browser, and you should see the completed file available. This is still unsuccessful, we do recommend contacting Support
