Introduction
Accountants can easily generate Pre and Post Audit Letters using the templates shared by auditors. Follow the steps below to generate Pre & Post Audit Letters and reports in just a few clicks.
How to View and Generate Audit Letters
Step 1: Login to Class and navigate to the SMSF Sorted Lite's Audit Console page.
Step 2: Click on Audit Engagement > Auditor Templates tab.
Step 3: On the appearing page, select the Audit Firm from the left panel. The report templates shared by the selected firm will be displayed on the right.
Step 4: Find the template you want to generate and click on the three-dot icon next to the template and select Generate Letter.
Note: If necessary, you can also click on View to view the shared template to ensure everything looks good before you generate the Audit Letter. Once the Audit Letter is generated, it will be available under the Manage Audit Letters tab. You can then view, download, delete, and upload the signed letter.
How to Download Signed Audit Letters
Step 1: Login to Class and navigate to the SMSF Sorted Lite's Console page.
Step 2: Click on Audit Engagement > Manage Audit Letters tab.
Step 3: Now, click on the three-dot icon and select Download Letter/Download Signed Letter.
Step 4: The letter will be downloaded and will be available on your device for further use.
Note: The Download Signed Letter option will only be enabled once you have successfully uploaded the signed letter. How to Upload Signed Letters
Step 1: Login to Class and navigate to the SMSF Sorted Lite's Console page.
Step 2: Click on Audit Engagement > Manage Audit Letters tab.
Step 3: Now, click on the three-dot and select Upload Signed Letter.
Step 4: You can now either Drag & Drop the signed document or select it from your Local Drive.
Step 5: Once uploaded successfully, the status for the updated letter will be changed to Signed.
How to Share Audit Letter with Auditor
Step 1: Login to Class and navigate to the SMSF Sorted Lite's Console page.
Step 2: Click on Audit Engagement > Manage Audit Letters tab.
Step 3: Now, click on the three-dot icon and select Share to Auditor.
Step 4: The signed letter will be shared with the audit firm once the job is completed.
