Introduction
Workpapers Sorted allows users to seamlessly bring ATO data directly into specific workpapers through ATO integration. This eliminates the need for manual data entry and reduces errors, saving time and improving accuracy.
Pre-requisite: Set Up ATO Integration
Before importing data, you must have ATO integration set up and enabled in Workpapers Sorted . If you have not yet completed this step, please follow the instructions in the help article below:
Populating ATO Data into Workpapers
Once the ATO integration is completed and a job has been created for the relevant financial year, Workpapers Sorted enables automatic data population in the following workpapers:
- ICA Reconciliation Workpaper
- ITA Reconciliation Workpaper
- Franking Account Workpaper
Steps to Perform in Workpapers Sorted
Step 1- Add a Workpaper: Navigate to your job and click the + icon under the Workpaper(s) column.
Step 2 - Select an ATO-Linked Workpaper: Choose either the ICA Reconciliation, ITA Reconciliation, or Franking Account workpaper. Example below:
Step 3 - Automatic Import from ATO: Upon adding the workpaper, Workpapers Sorted will connect to the ATO and automatically import the client's statement data for the selected job period.
Step 4 - Populate Workpaper with Imported Data: The system will replace predefined placeholders in the selected workpaper with real-time ATO data. Example below:
