Introduction
Tax Sorted allows you to integrate directly with the ATO, making the workflow easier and faster. With this integration, you can automatically fetch key information like the Income Tax Account (ITA) and Integrated Client Account (ICA) directly from the ATO, removing the need to manually upload these documents.
Follow the steps below to complete the integration:
Step 1: Click on Settings and select Integrations.
Step 2: Now, click on ATO Integration tab and enter details like ABN, Tax Agent Number and Name.
Step 3: Once all details are entered correctly, the Generate button will be enabled. Click on Generate to create your Software Subscription ID (SSID).
Note - You will need this SSID in the next steps when registering with the ATO.
To allow Tax Sorted to fetch data from ATO, you would require to make Tax Sorted a Digital Service Provider with ATO
Step 1: Login to Access Manager with Tax Agent's MyGovID.
Step 2: Select the relevant business and navigate to My hosted SBR software services.
Step 3: Click on Notify the ATO of your hosted services.
Step 4: In the Service Provider Name field, type GETONCLOUD PTY LTD. From the results, click on the ABN 62 601 942 698 link.
Step 5: Enter the SSID generated in TAX Sorted and Save.
Step 1: After completing the setup in ATO Access Manager, return to Tax Sorted.
Step 2: Tick the I have set up the ATO Connection checkbox and then click on Save.
That's all, you have now successfully integrated Tax Sorted with ATO.
