Hover-to-view comments on checklist and financial line items
Introduction
We are excited to introduce an enhancement to the Comments Hover Preview feature in the Auditomation portal, designed to improve efficiency and streamline the review experience for auditors and reviewers across the platform.
What’s New?
Users can now instantly preview comments by simply hovering the cursor over the comment icon.
This enhancement enables quicker visibility of comments, observations, discussions, and review notes while navigating through different sections of the platform, helping improve efficiency and overall user experience.
The hover preview functionality is now available across all applicable areas within the SMSF Auditomation software, including Checklists, Observations, and Line Items, ensuring a consistent and seamless review workflow throughout the platform.
Hover Preview for Checklist Comments
- Within the Auditomation portal, comments associated with checklist items, observations, and line items can now be viewed instantly through a quick preview experience.
- As users navigate through different sections during the audit and review process, moving the cursor over the comment icon will automatically display the related comments, observations, discussions, and review notes in an easy-to-access preview format.
- This enhancement delivers a smoother and more efficient workflow by improving visibility of comments while reducing interruptions during navigation.
Note: This enhancement also supports visibility of Roll-Forwarded Comments from previous jobs and comments within Imported Prior Year Checklists, allowing auditors and reviewers to seamlessly reference historical discussions and review notes directly within the current checklist workflow.
