Step 1: On selecting the Local Drive while downloading the workpaper file; it will be saved on the default download folder set on your computer.
Note: The workpaper file can be best viewed when it is opened with Google Chrome. Right-click on the PDF file and open it with Google Chrome as shown below.
Step 2: Navigate to the different sections of the file from the Bookmark Panel.
Step 3: Click on the hyperlink WP icons appearing in the last column to open the supporting documents tagged on the line items.
Note: In the supporting document, by clicking on the bookmark icon, you will be directed back to the workpaper file.
Step-1: If the workpaper file is downloaded in a zip format, you will need to extract it to a folder to view it.
Step-2: The workpaper generated in ZIP format has two items: (i) a PDF workpaper file and (ii) Tagged Documents folder. The workpaper file can be best reviewed in Google Chrome, hence it is recommended to open it with Google Chrome.
Step-3: Navigate to the different sections of the file from the Bookmark Panel.
Step-4: Click on the tagged documents icon to open the supporting documents.
Note: Press the Control key on the keyboard & click on the WP icon or right click on the WP icon to open the supporting documents in a new Google Chrome window so that you don't lose track of trial balance items you are reviewing.
Step-5: The supporting document will be opened in a new window; use the relevant bookmarks to jump on the relevant page of the document. You can also review the notes added on the supporting documents.
Saving the Workpapers in Class DMS
Step 1: Clicking on the Class DMS while downloading the workpaper file saves a copy of the workpaper file to Class DMS. Once saved in Class DMS; you can view it from Class Super > Fund > Dashboard > Fund documents in Class Super as mentioned below.
Step 2: You can Download, View/Edit and Delete it from Class DMS if you want.
