We are pleased to announce the release of our new data Sync feature which will help maintain data across both SMSF Sorted and Sorted Lite.
Accountants and Administrators can now upload and bookmark documents in either Sorted Lite or SMSF Sorted, click the Sync button, and seamlessly ensure that data is current across both user interfaces.
SMSF Sorted Professional and Enterprise users can now upload documents directly within Class, use the Sync feature and have the bookmarked paperwork available instantly in SMSF Sorted. The Sync process will also ensure that Lead Schedule and Chart of Account information is constantly updated.
To begin using the new ‘Sync’ feature you will first need to link your Sorted Lite Portal with your SMSF Sorted Professional or Enterprise Portal. You will only need to complete this step once. Once linked, all users will have access to the Sync feature and will be able to transfer data between Sorted Lite and SMSF Sorted. To create the link, open the workpaper screen in Sorted Lite and click “Link Your Sorted Portal”. You will be prompted to enter you SMSF Sorted Professional login credentials. The link will then be established and the Sync feature will be enabled.
The new Sync feature will allow you to transfer data from Sorted Lite to SMSF Sorted and vice-versa. The Sync feature keeps the following in sync and updated:

DMS Folders.
Documents.
Tagging and Bookmarking.
Comments and Highlights on documents.
You are able to Sync from Sorted Lite to SMSF Sorted whether the Client or Job exists in SMSF Sorted or not.If the Client or Job have not yet been created in SMSF Sorted and a user would like to transfer their work from Sorted Lite; this can be done by clicking the “Transfer” button. If the client and job already exists in SMSF Sorted and users would like to Sync data this can be done by clicking the “Re-Import and Sync” button.
The "Job-Type" field will now prefill as either Year-End of Wind-Up at the time the job is created. The classification of a Job as Year-End or Wind-Up is based on data in BGL360, Class or Supermate at the time of the import. For "Manual Jobs" the wind up date will be drawn from the Fund Details tab when the client is created.
You can now follow up queries by clicking "Notify Assignees" directly from the Queries & Review Points screen on the Job Dashboard. When clicking "Notify Assignees" you will be prompted to select which team members you would like to notify. That staff member will then receive and email, prompting them to review the query.
You will now be prompted to assign a "Client Contact" when submitting a job to Audit. The client contact will be the staff member on the SMSF Sorted Portal who will be responsible for receiving queries and notifications on the job raised by the Auditor.
