Document Bookmarking Enhancements

Streamline Document Review with Enhanced Bookmarking

Introduction

We are happy to announce the latest enhancements to Document Bookmarking, designed to make managing and reviewing supporting documents faster and more flexible.

This release covers the following important updates:

Edit Existing Bookmarks

  1. You can now edit bookmarks after they have been created, allowing you to quickly correct typos, update bookmark details, or make changes when a document has been incorrectly marked.
  2. The Edit option lets you update the existing bookmark without deleting and recreating it, making bookmark management quicker and easier.
  3. This enhancement helps keep bookmark information accurate and up to date while reducing unnecessary steps.

Bookmarks Related to a Document are Automatically Arranged & Grouped Together

  1. When multiple documents are tagged to the same line item, related bookmarks are now grouped, making it easier to view all relevant sections at a glance.
  2. Bookmarks from the same document are displayed together, allowing auditors to review multiple bookmarked sections in one session without repeatedly opening the document.
  3. This creates a more streamlined review experience, with fewer clicks and less time spent navigating between documents.

       

Remove All Tags and Bookmarks at Once

  1. You can now remove all bookmarks associated with a document in a single action, making it easier to clean up supporting documents quickly.
  2. Click the Remove All Bookmarks icon highlighted in the document section to open the removal options. A pop-up will provide two options:
  1. Accounting Item Bookmarks – Removes the bookmarks associated with the selected accounting item only. The document and its other bookmarks remain unchanged.
  2. Document Bookmarks – Removes all bookmarks from the document and moves the document to the Unsorted folder.
  1. Select the required option and click Yes to confirm the action.
  2. This provides a quick and flexible way to remove unwanted bookmarks based on your review requirements.


Other Improvements

  1. This release includes a range of user experience improvements across Auditomation, including enhanced readability with updated font sizing and refined button styling for a more consistent interface.
