Introduction
This feature allows you to seamlessly integrate and manage relationships between clients and entities, ensuring that all relevant information is consistently reflected across both systems. Efficiently manage client relationships with Tax Sorted using the Add/View Relationship feature. View the Client Relationship with, Client Name, Entity Type (E), Relation (R), and Ownership (O). Add new relationships and send to Xero seamlessly with a pop-up dialogue. Manage entries with drag-and-drop functionality, ensuring data positioning. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you add relationships to your accounting software.
How to Add a Relationship
Step 1: Log in to your accounting software and navigate to the Client List page.
Step 2: Click the View Relationship icon next to the client's name.
Step 3: A slider displays the Relationship Chart and Relationship Table.
Step 4: Click on the Add Relationship button in the screen's top right corner.
Step 5: Enter the required details such as name, entity type, relation, ownership percentage, and comments.
Step 6: Click Save to add the relationship.
Note: you can add multiple relationships at one time by clicking on the Add Line button.
Step 7: The relationship will be saved and you will receive a confirmation toast message at the bottom of your screen.
Step 8: Once added, you can click on Post to Xero to push the added relationship to Xero.
Note: The grey disabled Xero button denotes that the relationship has already been sent to Xero.

How to View Relationship
Viewing client relationships in Tax Sorted helps you understand connections between clients and entities. Here's how you can easily view client relationships within the platform.
Step 1: Navigate to the Client List module in Tax Sorted.
Step 2: Click on the View Relationship icon next to the client name.
Step 3: A slider displays the Relationship Chart and Relationship Table.
Step 4: You can click on the four arrows to expand and then on any company or trust name from the relationship chart that is displayed to view the respective relationship chart.
Step 5: You can view the Relationship, Entity Type and Ownership of the trustees in the table given alongside the Relationship Chart.
With these simple steps, you can quickly add and view client relationships and send them to Xero from Tax Sorted, gaining insights into connections between clients and entities.
