Introduction
Connect Module is the place from where you can connect with Accountants and get going. Following are the actions that can be performed from Connect Module.
How to Connect to an Accountant
To connect with an external auditor or an external audit firm refer to the points given below.
Step 1:- Click on Admin > Connect.
Step 2:- From there, click on Connect Accountant.
Step 3:- Now a pop-up questionnaire will appear on your screen, fill in the required details.
Note:- If the accounting firm already has a Cloudoffis Audit portal, the Company Name, Email Contact, and Firm Type will be prefilled after the ABN has been entered.
Step 4:- Once you’re done, click on Connect.
Note:-
- If the auditor uses the Auditomation portal an email will be sent to the recipient notifying them of the connection request and providing a link to approve the request.
- If they do not have an Auditomation portal, then, They will get an email with the registration link. On successful registration, the connected Accountant will get an email with the login credentials.
Step 5:- A confirmation pop-up will now appear on your screen.
Step 6:- A mail will be sent to the accountant with connect request as shown below. The accountant can click on Register Now to accept the connect request.
Note:- You can delete the firm if the account has yet not accepted the connect request by clicking on the Delete icon under the Action column.
Once connected, the Status of the account will be shown as Connected instead of Pending.
How to Disconnect and Delete an Accountant
Step 1:- Click on Admin > Connect.
Step 2:- From there, click on Disconnect under the Action column.
Step 3:- As soon as you do so, you will receive a confirmation pop-up, click on Yes to continue.
Step 4:- You will now receive a confirmation pop-up at the bottom of your screen.
