Staff Role Definitions and Access
Introduction
Each role in Cloudoffis comes with unique access privileges and responsibilities. Below is a detailed overview of the permissions and activities available for each role:
Company Admin
- Full Access: The Company Admin has complete access to all the functionalities.
- Notification Control: The Company Admin has the authority to Change Notification Recipients for Connect and Job Activities. By default, the Company Admin initially receives emails related to connect activities and jobs submitted by accountants.
- Subscription and Top-Up Control: Only the Company Admin has the ability to Subscribe to services and Top-up Files as needed.
Administrator
- Access: The Administrator also have full access to all functionalities including Connect with accounting firms, Create Labels, Checklist Templates, and Report Templates. Although, they can not Change Notification Recipients and perform Subscription actions.
Auditor / Manager / Audit Preparer
- Basic Access (if unchanged): If no custom changes are made from Staff > Roles and Permissions by the Administrator or Company Admin, these roles have access to:
- Dashboard
- DMS (This will be empty initially as it only lists the jobs they have access to.)
- Integrations (MS Office Authentication, Xero Integration, Multifactor Authentication)
This structure allows each role to have distinct responsibilities and permissions, promoting an organized workflow and enhancing accountability within Cloudoffis.
